The aim of the Master's programme Economics and Management with two specialisations (Management, Human resources and international leadership) is to provide graduates with a strong foundation of knowledge and to deepen and extend existing skills obtained at bachelor level in order to find a long-term employment in the labour market or to carry out their own competitive business plan. Graduates will be able to use critical thinking to evaluate information and, on its basis, to make appropriate decisions in the field of economic processes and management in private and public sector. Emphasis is placed on gaining professional managerial and business skills, the knowledge of macroeconomic development in international context and practical experience from internships in the Czech Republic or abroad. This Master‘s degree programme in the sphere of International Territorial Studies focuses on „International Development Studies“, enabling students to specialise either in Global Development or European Studies. The programme aims to provide students with the ability to identify critical factors and trends in the developing world both in general and international contexts, assess the causality and existence of problems in the developing world and draft proposals for effective solutions (including critical situations), translate proposals addressing these issues into development assistance projects, including respecting the environmental impacts of decisions in a broader context. At the same time, students will gain practical knowledge of specific current issues related to selected regions of the developing world, namely Africa, South and Southeast Asia, or Latin America (based on their choice) and will be able to draft development projects for the particular region they select. Graduates of European Studies will be able to understand the role of the European Union in the global environment, with special emphasis on its interaction with developing countries.

The Master's programme Open informatics focuses on design architecture, implementation of complex technological solutions, the management of process development and appropriate methodologies. The study programme deepens and expands theoretical knowledge and principles related to the field of study. Moreover, the graduate will gain experience related to the complex algorithms design, from basic graph algorithm to the artificial intelligence methods. Graduates will gain broad range of knowledge and acquire practical skills in the field of development of complex technological systems, specially software systems.
